Petz Enterprises provides tax preparation software to both professional and consumer markets. Recognizing the opportunity to present a fresh and compelling brand, Petz challenged ThoughtMatrix to launch the new site during the height of the tax preparation season. This crucial timing coincided with the peak of the Web site's annual traffic, thereby increasing the importance of launch on time.
ThoughtMatrix utilized a rapid prototyping approach to provide the Petz team with an HTML prototype of the site that simulated the layout, navigation and functionality of key site components. This approach helped to engage key Petz stakeholders in the process—capturing and incorporating their needs for the site in just two weeks.
Utilizing the prototype, Petz's marketing organization was able to begin content development and migration during the creative phase. This approach ensured content was prepared for integration upon the completion of the visual design.
