Sorry if I wrote that unclearly. Sometimes the option does not appear in the Playback tab because of disabled devices. If you are still experiencing this issue, repeat steps 1-4, then change the New Format option from Dolby Digital 5. I have found one solution for some things. Something is still not working right, but at least I have a way to temporarily fix it. Now, to listen to your laptop speakers again, all you have to do is again go to volume mixer icon, choose laptop speakers and allow it to configure again. Only God knows why Apple doesn't autodetect it like every other computer does.

What I really want to be able to view on my computer with audi - if they will be eventually blocked from streaming - is to view these stations on line on my computer with auctio - if possible. So it seems that there are just certain movies that don't play any audio from the movie itself, but work fine in the menus. It used to work perfectly. That is currently working for me, and will hopefully enable you to at least watch some content this way! Otherwise, my solution detailed above works absolutely great. Then set it as default device.
